How Much I Can Learn In Java In 2-3 Month ?

I'm graduating soon, but I don't plan to work in my specialty.
I've been working on computers since I was a kid, so I'm pretty good with them. Maybe I can be a good programmer. But I don't want to study a whole year to realize in the end that it's not what I want to do all my life. So I decided to try to learn java in 2 or 3 months.
What is the best way to learn Java by myself?
