we used the old links for our webstart files and switched now to

but the extension.jnlp it self contains the old link and doesn't work.

<jnlp codebase="http://lwjgl.org/webstart/2.9.1" href="extension.jnlp">

All legacy 2.x versions files are wrong.

Please help.

Hi cwei,

The paths have been fixed and the old URLs rewritten. The demos should work for you now.

However, I'm pretty sure you shouldn't rely on extension.jnlp to be present on LWJGL's server. I think those files are only hosted there for demo purposes and users are supposed to host their own versions.

@spasi, @Matzon, @Kappa --> Any insight about this? Should this be allowed? If yes, then maybe it is a good idea to move them to the CDN.

Thanx a lot from http://www.bytonic.de.

Now all the fans of Quake2 are happy again and can click and play http://www.bytonic.de/downloads/jake2_lwjgl.jnlp.
Have fun and thanx for the library and the support over the last 10 years.

BTW.: All your demos at http://legacy.lwjgl.org/demos.php are broken too.

Same problem with version 2.9.2

but the extension.jnlp it self contains the old link and doesn't work.

<jnlp codebase="http://lwjgl.org/webstart/2.9.2" href="extension.jnlp">

The "legacy." is missing in the codebase url.
