Block Guest posts?

I didn't know where to put this....

We are starting to get more and more ads from Guest posts.
Should we think about blocking posts from non-members? (I assume you can do that)

Part of me doesn't want to do that, as we have had some Guests actually ask real questions....
Maybe wait until it gets really out of hand....
Maybe I'm the only one that is bothered by this? :lol:
Anyone else want to chime in?

apparently the documentation forum was public - changed to registered - hopefully that should fix it. I also added image check when creating users.

Could consider moving to vBulletin...? I know it costs, but it rocks.

anything that gets us away from phpbb and has an *easy* upgrade path gets my vote. Needs to be able to import phpbb data tho
