does GLU must go away of LWJGL ?

A pure Java implementation, as Cas suggested, would be the best thing to do. But it definitely shouldn't go away.

We would really much rather do a pure implementation, using proper interfaces for callbacks, and floats instead of doubles.

Any volunteers?
