Yes thats right - we've got a shop!

We will use the shop to sell LWJGL games made by you, in return we only ask for a percentage of the sales. Any sale goes directly to the LWJGL donation, which in turn is used to further the LWJGL project.

If you want your game listed on the page please contact info@lwjgl.org for further details.

What a FANTASTIC idea!!! What kind of percentage are you asking for? My project is a little weird, in that I have a production cost (book manufacturing involved), but I might be able to figure something out... either way, I'll most definitely offer the game I'm currently working on to help out the cause.

Speaking for my self (we haven't discussed this "internally"):
The percentage can be anything I guess, but I would assume ~10%? (I have no idea what the normal commision is - anyone?).

As for the actual games, I think we should stick with quality games, that is games already being sold - and not alpha/beta quality.

The way it's done right now for TT is that LWJGL is a plimus.com reseller and for ultratron Cas handles it by providing us a ultratron build which tags us as the reseller.
How we will do it with others I dont know, but we are pretty flexible :)

I agree. I think this is a good idea.  :D

Seems there are a few details to work out, though
Programmers will, one day, rule the world... and the world won't notice until its too late.Just testing the marquee option ;D

I totally agree with an idea. Unfortunatelly, my project IS in alpha/beta stage, so... I suppose nothing so far. I tought to give 100% of sales to LWJGL while Monstrumo is sold in some kind of demo version (now it is in 80% of that level, I think), and after that, who knows...

some sort of closed beta service would be nice, where the game can be displayed and tested until presumed good enough to display on the shop.

i'd be happy to test nightly builds and stuff even now and then and leave feedback.
