Title: Game Marketing Advice
Post by: elias4444 on August 21, 2006, 15:13:02
I'm getting close to finishing up my current game project, and was wondering if I could get some advice about marketing from those of you who've done it already. It was recommended to me at one point to use the people at //www.vgsmart.com, and I'm wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them or with some other group that does a good job for us indie game developers.

ANY advice would be appreciated, as marketing has always been my weakest skill.

Terin (vgsmart) also released a book, which is supposed to be pretty good:

The book is great.

I'm in the same boat and have just enlisted vgsmart if thats any help. You might also consider using the download submission service at Glimmer Games:
