As you probably noticed, we changed forum software :)
The reason for this was the very large increase in spam, and the fact that I was growing increasingly annoyed by phpbbs update features.
So now we're running SMF, Simple Machines Forum 1.1
Some stuff got broken in the process but not something I intend to fix:
- Upladed avatars got /dev/null'ed
- signatures with URLs got screwed
Please comment on any other issues than:
- Smilies appear to be MIA - FIXED (path issue)
- Old messages that use non-ascii text will render incorrectly (not planning on fixing)
Looks and feels great. Hopefully fewer russian mail-order brides now...

Der er lidt problemer med gamle indlæg og brugen af æøåÆØÃ... (eg. mit navn), men det er ikke sÃ¥ væsentligt herinde :)

Yeah, I thought I had gone to the wrong place for a second there ;D
I'm already starting to like it, though :)
EDIT: The upgrade seemed to take the first "P" off my sig, but not too bad ;D
boards look much nicer now.
pruning users ...
since we have a lot of fake users (pron, casino, drugs etc) I will be deleting accounts that haven't activated within 2 months
already halved our users :)
at some point in time, I will be deleting users that haven't logged in for 2 months - and have no posts at all, but right now I am concentrating on users that haven't even activated.
