Title: A bit off-topic about selling games...
Post by: blue_tomato on February 05, 2005, 08:50:32
I just completed my first LWJGL game (weee), and I will try my luck by publishing it. :)

I am in need of someone who can accept a credit card payment on the Internet, and then deliver a license code generated by my keygenerator to the purchaser.

Quite simple really, and I am sure there are many who can offer this service on the Internet. I even found a few, like www.payloadz.com, but I have no idea which are good and not.

Any recommendations?

judging from my rexeipts from puppygame, Cas uses http://usd.swreg.org/index.html - might want to check 'em out.

I've not been especially happy with SWREG of late. 25% of my orders were refused by SWREG recently, and that'd be fine if they were fraudsters but every single one was someone I've known on the boards for a few years!! I might switch to Plimus soon.

Doh! I just signed up with them and made the keygen code and everything...

On another note, are you saying that all your customers are friends? Does not sound like a good business model to me unless you have a million friends, hope I can see some sales though...  :?

Well, I've got quite a lot of friends yes ;) But of late we're not selling any games at all for some reason.
