The upgrade was a success. We still need to upgrade the forum, and will do so in ~8 hours. The forum is declared open again :) but will be down some minutes later today.

hmm, downgraded to old version (dont mind the version string, must be stored in the DB). There are some issues with the new version that needs to be tracked

For the version control at the bottom, make sure you run the database updater that comes along with the PHPBB update package... It'll update your database schema for the newer version as well.
