you have some earlier lwjhl stuff lying around in jre/ext ?

No LWJGL utils jar in the classpath there. org.lwjgl.util.* classes come in a separate jar.

I do not understand. So what do I do? How can I test it? This was what it said on the installation page for testing lwjgl.

sorry, still haven't updated the installation page...
append the lwjgl_util.jar to the class path
